Updates

Install a newer Norio package over the current theme and plugin. Keep your pages, media, and Norio Core settings. Do not run the demo import again on a site that already has your content.

Before you update

1. Back up the site files and the database.
2. Download the new package from your ThemeForest account.
3. Unzip All files & documentation if that is the download you chose, and locate norio.zip and norio-core.zip.

Update the theme

1. Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
2. Upload the new norio.zip.
3. When WordPress asks to replace the current version, confirm.
4. Confirm Norio is still the active theme.

With FTP, replace the wp-content/themes/norio folder with the new one, then reload wp-admin.

Update Norio Core

1. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
2. Upload the new norio-core.zip.
3. Replace the installed plugin when WordPress asks.
4. Confirm Norio Core is active under Plugins.

After the update

• Visit the homepage and one inner page.
• If project, service, or team links 404, open Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes.
• Clear any cache plugin or host cache, then check again.
