Blocks

Norio sections are blocks registered by Norio Core. Insert them from the block inserter, edit copy on the canvas, and set links or data sources in the sidebar.

Insert a block

  1. Edit a page or template.
  2. Click the inserter (+) and search for Norio.
  3. Choose a section, such as Norio Hero 1 or Norio Services 2.
  4. Update the page, then view it on the front end to see motion.

What to edit where

  • Canvas. Headings, paragraphs, and many images. Click the text and type.
  • Sidebar. URLs, media, the number of items, and the content source.
  • List view. Reorder nested blocks, such as cards inside a section, by dragging them.

Some lists, such as FAQ rows, are a repeater in the sidebar. Others are child blocks you arrange in list view. Both show up as the same section on the front end.

Live content

Several sections can read WordPress content instead of the cards typed into the block. Select the block and check the sidebar.

SectionSource
ServicesServices, or manual cards when you switch the source.
ProjectsPortfolio items, or manual cards.
TeamTeam members, or manual cards.
Blog and feedPosts. Related posts on a single article use the same source.

Add or edit those items under Portfolio, Services, Team, or Posts. The block updates on the front end. A button in the sidebar opens that admin screen when the section is bound to live content.

Block groups

Names in the inserter start with “Norio”. Child blocks, such as a single pricing plan, only appear inside their parent. The groups below are the sections you place on a page.

  • Heroes — Hero 1, Hero 2, Hero 3, and the heroes used on services, pricing, jobs, help, and the 404.
  • Studio — About, approach, why us, features, proof, timeline, and image sections.
  • Services, projects, and team — grids and lists, including the projects page layouts.
  • Pricing, testimonials, and process — plan tables, quotes, and process steps.
  • FAQ and CTA — question lists and call-to-action bands.
  • Blog — the blog page and feed sections.
  • Contact and jobs — contact layouts, the brief, job overview, and apply.
  • Singles — the content blocks used on a project, service, team member, or post.
