Short answers to the questions that come up while installing and editing Norio.

What is Full Site Editing, and how does Norio use it?

Norio is a block theme. Pages, templates, and global styles are edited in the Site Editor. Norio Core adds the section blocks, plus Projects, Services, and Team, that the demos are built with.

Do I need a Pro plugin to import the demo?

No. From the setup wizard, install and activate Norio Core and One Click Demo Import, then pick a homepage. Contact Form 7 is optional and only powers the contact form.

Can I use Norio blocks with a classic theme?

No. Norio blocks, headers, and footers are built for this block theme. They do not run on classic themes.

The theme upload says style.css is missing

The outer ThemeForest zip was uploaded, or the wrong folder was uploaded. Unzip the package and install norio.zip. Steps are in Installation.

Edit a preset under Norio Core → Headers or Norio Core → Footers, then choose the site default in Norio Core → General Settings. Homepages can keep their own header and footer. The overlay menu is edited under the Overlay Menu screen. See Header & footer.

I skipped the wizard. How do I get back?

Use the Complete Wizard Setup button on the dashboard notice, or open Appearance → Setup Wizard.

The import failed or the layout looks wrong

Confirm Norio Core and One Click Demo Import are active, deactivate other plugins, and import again from the wizard or from Appearance → Import Demo Data. Use the parent theme if a child theme is active, and raise the PHP memory limit if the host cuts the request off. After a successful import, regenerate thumbnails and confirm the homepage you wanted is the front page. If it is still off, open a ticket and attach a screenshot.

Images look soft or incomplete after import

The importer downloads full-size files only. Run Regenerate Thumbnails once when the admin notice appears. That builds the smaller sizes the theme uses.

Go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes. The import already sets the post name structure. Saving again refreshes the rewrite rules if a host or another plugin cleared them.

How do I turn animations off?

Open Norio Core → General Settings and switch off Motion, Preloader, Smooth scroll, or Magic cursor. Reduced motion turns motion off for the whole site. Visitors who set reduced motion in their operating system are respected as well.
