Norio Docs View demo

Norio Core settings

Motion, the default header and footer, logos, type, and color are collected on one screen: Norio Core → General Settings. You can also open it from the admin bar.

Each section has its own Save changes button.

Default chrome

Choose the header and footer used when a page is set to Default. Homepages keep their own pair. Edit Menu Overlay jumps to the overlay preset. Details are in Header & footer.

Motion

Turn features off for speed, or to honor a reduced-motion preference. The visitor’s operating system setting prefers-reduced-motion: reduce is also respected on the front end.

Typography and color

These options apply to the whole site. Leave a field empty to keep the theme default.

Typography

  • Body font. Default is Inter. Search the font list and pick a Google font.
  • Heading font. Used on headings. Empty follows the body font.
  • Type scale. Scales every text size from 80% to 130%.
  • Google Fonts API key. Optional. It refreshes the full font catalog. Search still works from the bundled list without a key. The key stays in wp-admin.

Color

Light and dark each have Background, Text, Muted text, and Accent. One custom color rebuilds the neutral scale for that scheme. Showcase colors stay as designed.

Visitors switch schemes with the theme toggle in the header, footer, or menu overlay. The choice is stored in the browser. You can also pick the dark style variation under Appearance → Editor → Styles.

Logos

Leave a slot empty to keep the theme default. Light and dark are separate so the mark stays readable when the scheme changes.

  • Preloader. Opening screen only. Header and bottom navigation stay separate.
  • Bottom navigation. Center mark. Links come from Appearance → Menus.
  • Menu overlay. Logo at the top of the overlay. Preview is the fallback image on the left side of that menu.
