Norio Docs View demo

Site Editor

Norio pages are built from blocks. Open a page, select a block, and change its content in the canvas or its settings in the sidebar.

Open a page

  1. Go to Pages → All Pages.
  2. Open the page you want to change. Home 01, Home 02, and Home 03 are ordinary pages. The one set as the homepage is your front page.
  3. Click the list view icon (three stacked lines) to see every block on the page.
  4. Nested blocks, such as a section that contains cards, open when you click the arrow beside the parent.

Templates that wrap every page — the 404, search, single post, and archives — live under Appearance → Editor → Templates. Headers and footers are edited under Norio Core, which is covered in Header & footer.

Edit a block

Select a block in list view, or click it on the canvas. The right sidebar shows its settings.

  • The first tab (gear) holds content options such as links, the number of items, and the data source.
  • Text and many images are edited by clicking them on the canvas.
  • The toolbar above a selected block offers the usual block actions: move, duplicate, and remove.

Section animations, smooth scroll, and the custom cursor run on the front end. In the editor, motion is softened so text stays easy to click. Preview the page to see the full animation.

Blocks and patterns

A block is a single piece of the page. A pattern is a group of blocks you can insert together.

Normal patterns

A normal pattern is copied onto the page. Edits stay on that page. Other pages that used the same pattern keep their own copy.

Synced patterns

A synced pattern is shared. In list view it is marked with a purple diamond. Select it and click Edit original in the toolbar. Changes in that editor update every place the pattern is used.

You cannot rewrite a synced pattern by typing on the page that displays it. Open the original first.
