Setup wizard

After you activate Norio, the wizard installs plugins and imports the demo. It has three steps: plugins, demo, and a final confirmation.

Open it any time from Appearance → Setup Wizard.

Return after skipping

The wizard has a Skip setup link. If you leave early, the dashboard shows a notice: “Norio setup is not finished.” Click Complete Wizard Setup to resume. Dismiss this notice hides the banner for your user until setup is finished.

1. Install required plugins

The first step lists the plugins the theme uses. Click Install Required Plugins and wait until each one shows Installed.

  • Norio Core is required. It registers Projects, Services, Team, headers, footers, and the section blocks.
  • One Click Demo Import is required for the demo package.
  • Contact Form 7 is optional. The same install button adds it when it is missing, so the contact page can send messages. Skip it only if you will use another form plugin and wire the contact blocks yourself.

When Norio Core and One Click Demo Import are active, click Next.

2. Import demo data

Three cards are shown: Home 01, Home 02, and Home 03. All three import the same site. The card you choose becomes the front page.

  1. Click Import Demo on the homepage you want.
  2. Leave the tab open. A notice asks you not to refresh or close the page while the import runs.
  3. When it finishes, that card is marked Imported.
  4. To switch the front page later, open this step again and click Set as Homepage on another card. That does not import the package a second time.

3. Final

The last step confirms that Norio is ready. Click Visit Dashboard. From there, edit pages in the Site Editor, and turn motion, the preloader, and other chrome on or off under Norio Core → General Settings.
