Header & footer
Headers, footers, and the fullscreen menu are presets in Norio Core. Pick a site default, and let individual homepages keep their own pair.
Choose the site default
- Go to Norio Core → General Settings.
- Under Default chrome, choose a header and a footer.
- Click Save changes.
The default is used when a page is set to Default. Homepages keep the header and footer assigned to them. After a demo import, Home 01 uses Header 1 and Footer 1, Home 02 uses Header 2 and Footer 2, and Home 03 uses Header 3 and Footer 3.
Edit a preset
- Open Norio Core → Headers or Norio Core → Footers.
- The theme ships Header 1–4 and Footer 1–3. Open the one you want.
- Edit the logo, links, and other blocks on the canvas. Menu items can also come from Appearance → Menus.
- Update the preset. Every page that uses it picks up the change.
Use Duplicate on the list screen when you want a new preset based on an existing one.
Per page
Open a page in the editor. In the document sidebar, open the Chrome panel. Choose the header and footer for that page, or leave them on the site default. Edit this header and Edit this footer open the preset you selected.
Menu overlay
The overlay is the fullscreen menu opened from the header. Edit it from Norio Core (the Overlay Menu screen), or click Edit Menu Overlay in General Settings.
Logo and the left-side preview image are set under Logos → Menu overlay on the same settings screen. Link lists for the overlay are menu locations, described in Navigation.
